Curious? I bet you are.
First day attached to Parkway Laboratory.
comments: Tired. Exhausted.
>_<
My feet were almost giving up on me lur. Boooooooo! With the pumps on, both sides of my feet (beside the big toe and little toe) are so sore and red now. I’m gonna wear my comfy converse sneakers to work tomorrow! Zomg.
Basically. Don’t think I’d prefer working in this frame of work. Seriously routine work. But don’t deny its really an experience. Being a green horn there, the people there are really awesome. As in, how they work, and HOW WE DO OUR PRACTICALS in SCHOOL. They are Wow! Haa. Coool. Learnt how they removed bubbles from samples! So cool, still mastering it. =P They can do it like easy peasy without removing hardly any samples at all. I tried like once but made a bigger bubble outta it! HAHA. but that was because I did a wrong step. And, the big big machines do wonders, haha!
Anyway, my whole 10am-5pm was spent, walking to the spin room, to get samples, put appropriate specimen for ‘rolling’ to mix the blood, ‘file’ the specimens for further use, aliquot urine samples and send for centrifugaging, testing for HBA1c, and doing IMMAGE tests. :D HANDS ON, okay! Jealous, ain’t you? Angela CLX.
Coooliozx, right?
HAHA. but it sure was tiring. zomgg. and its only the first day of work.
and, Dilys and I were separated into different departments, and we’d be doing the different departments every week. Woooot. Dilys’s doing microbiology, and I’m doing Biochemistry (Clinical Chemistry!).
Lucky we share the common lunch time, yay! and of course, off time! WOOT.
LOVE YOU DILYS! <3
