Lack of ‘life’

I realised I’m lagging severely with photos, for me to blog about.

Simply means lack of meet up with friends.

I miss all my friends!!

I LOVE TUMBLR! Someday this is going to be a replica of my tumblr blog. If life continues to get boring. HELLO FRIENDS; WE NEED TO MEET UP! :(

I feel damn anti-social like all of a sudden. Haven’t met friends for super long. Everyone’s busy, when I’m free. and when I’m busy, everyone seems to be free.

I don’t want to stop feeling like this.

The hardest part is always executing. Action speaks louder than words.

If I could rewind time, I’d go back to March, days after we’re done with our final papers. Start from there, and re-play everything that happened then. The JB stayover @ my place, then my Germany trip, then Bangkok shopping trip with girlies, pause and stop there. March was the best month of my year for now.

If only..

For now, I’ll be grateful enough if all my emo thoughts get flown away from me like all these balloons.

Its the weekends!!

But I’m home, waiting for daddy to come home before we head out for dinner.

I was contemplating whether to go for a badminton game with cousins, or to join my parents for dinner. & Mommy convinced me to stay. HAHA. The date today is the 23rd July. In less than a month’s time, school is going to start, and judging the way I’m going to arrange my timetable, I’m pretty sure I’ll never be able to be back on time on Fridays to have dinner with my parents anymore.

I think alot, huh?

Its ironic how I don’t fail to complain how boring life is currently, and I know that once school starts, I’ll start missing such carefree and stress-free lives; where I can have breakfast with parents early in the morning, and go back home to sleep. Haaa.

I don’t think we can have the best of both worlds, do we? Humans are never perfect, lest to say, our lives. Its more about living your imperfect lives to the most perfect way..I guess.

Full of reflective thoughts.

So guys, if you’ve come to a point of realization like me, take some time off, and have a meal with your family! ;) All it takes is a an hour or two, probably during the weekends. Its never too late to show you care. :)

*Digress abit*

Jay Chou is featured everywhere, on the newspapers, on magazines!! Haha. While some auntie was flipping her newspaper on the MRT just now, I caught a glimpse of Jay’s news! Hahahaha!

& I bought this week’s issue of i-weekly with Jay Chou being featured inside. How I wished it was all in English. But for him, I’ll read it all! :D:D

Its a Jay Chou week over here in Singapore afterall, so its also not suprising to see him all over. Haha!

Anyway, back to arranging timetable for school, its giving me a headache! Thank goodness I’m comforted that it gets easier as the semesters goes by.

I can’t really adapt to the change from polytechnic to university life.

In polytechnic, we’re given a timetable, and just one whole range of electives for you to choose from.

Now in NUS, we’re only given our cores, and a zillion DIFFERENT kinds of electives to choose from, within or out of your faculty.

Confusing much?

I am so not used to it.

Someone remind me that it’ll be worth it in the end, please?

I really hope uni life is going to be enriching and manageable for me. I’m very paranoid about everything.

the undisputed king of mandarin pop

You might probably have guessed, who I’m going to talk about.

Yes, its non other than Jay Chou! An idol I’m full of admiration for.

I was just recently inspired by an article written inside 8 days, two weeks back, which was featuring this mandopop king. :) This was what that sparked my sudden and intense admiration for him.

The article was perfectly written. It depicted all the reasons why we should love this fella.

Many would mention that they can’t understand what this man is singing since he mumbles too much. But hey, this is where the beauty of his incoherent singing lies in – this might be a reason why his music is loved, to some others. I admit when I was younger, I never admired him, at all, and this was one of the silly reasons I gave.

The author also mentioned something like “he aint no Wu Zun, but this just means that we love our man first and foremost for his musical genius”.

At this point of time, I’m filled with guilt. I was one of the shallow “heartthrob-worshipping” Chinese pop fan who goes around telling people “Fahrenheit/Wu Zun is my idol” – purely because they are good-looking!!

Other than that, this 31 years old guy over here is a real deal man! ‘He writes his own songs, directs his own music videos, and takes orders from no one..’. Talented, I would say!

Not forgetting, he can play the piano (and probably other instruments? I don’t know!) so well. I’m full of adoration for people who are good at piano, especially guys. They are impressive. Sadly, its because I myself can’t play the piano well.

Last but not least, this guy is a good guy. He’s super filial. Look at the songs he has written/sang over the years. I’m sure everyone knows how well-known Jay Chou is, as a filial son/grandson. :))

He had just had his first ever autograph session in Singapore today (strictly speaking its yesterday since its already past 12am). I’m sure it was a successful one because I’d heard of friends raving about the thousands of crowd that jammed the whole of Bugis Junction. Wished I was there! But I know I wouldn’t be able to stand the wait, and all the squeezing! HAHA!

One day, one day, I will be willing to spend the money to attend his concerts. So Jay Chou, wait for me, and please don’t retire so early! =))

Okay, for easier comparison, instead of trying to imagine how long was my hair..

I used to have such long hair!!! *My hair is still slightly longer than whatever’s portrayed hereeee okay*

Now I think I lost some ‘feminity’ too, due to the shorter hair length. I want my hair to grow back fast!!!!

Today is Wednesday! Made an impromptu visit to the cinema.. If you followed me on twitter, you’d have known.. I caught Inception in the theatres today!! :D

EVERYONE SAYS ITS THE BESTEST MOVIE IN 2010. I’ll second what’s said with all my 4 limbs!!!

I have to divulge, initially before a friend explained to me exactly what happened, I was lost. I wasn’t exactly aware of the ‘goals’ of the main characters, because either I missed the very very beginning, or I was too busy eating. >< (We bought Secret Recipe’s Cake inside to nom-nom!) HAHA.

And somewhere through the middle, I fell asleep! Its not the movie, its me. HAHA!

Having said that, I’m not totally clueless to the movie as well, so yeap, through the parts I watched and processed through my mind, I could roughly decipher what the whole movie was about.

This movie is too smart, too ingenious!! The scriptwriter is a genius! ;)

I’d give it a 4.5/5 stars!!!!! :D

So guys, if you haven’t spent 2.5hours in the threatres watching this blockbuster, you gotta do it fast!!

Today, I did something pretty courageous, at least to me! Haha!
If you’d followed me on twitter, you’d have known..
Anyway, I’ve finally decided on cutting my hair!

I believe there are many who are ‘scared’ of haircuts because the outcome is much unpredictable.. And I admit I’m one of them.

I’ve had extremely dry hair especially my hair ends and they are getting really on my nerves! I was tired of seeing split ends and broken ends, thus the decision!

You must be wondering what’s the big deal!! But I cut off at least 6-8cm of my hair this time round!!! (Fyi: that’s a lot!!!!!!) So now my hair is of shoulder length now! Its the shortest length I’ve had in manymany years..

I was still a little undecisive while on the way to my hairdressers’ but I thought I’d give my hair a chance to grow healthy! :D

For now.. I can’t wait for my hair to growww again!!!

Too tired to take any photos today! I’ll upload photos tomorrowwww ahaha! So be sure to check this space ! :p
