I’m typing this entry on my new MacBook Air (MBA)! YIPPEEEE. :))

Been mentioning to my closer friends that I need an upgrade soon and finally, I got it online through Apple’s RED FRIDAY promotion after the brother (Felix) told me! :D Got RM311 off the usual price thanks to the promotion, yay!

If you’re wondering.. I’m no spenthrift!! I’ve been using my previous Compaq laptop since my first year in polytechnic! So its been a good five years(?) and recently its been extremely laggy and slow due to old age as well as it running outta space.. And I decided its a good time and reason (excuse) to change!

Its my second day using it and I’m trying very hard to get used to the Mac OS platform.. Everything here is extremely new to me! Very willing to learn though, I’m loving my MBA, very much. Especially its light weight. :’)

I’m so making sure that I keep my stuffs properly organised inside my MBA!! A promise to myself.

Last Thursday, I went to Timbré @ Old School with my friends! :D We love the local band 53A very much!! :’) It was definitely worth it to climb that 30825294 flight of stairs up the hill just to listen to them.

I’m already anticipating my next visit to wherever to listen to them! Hehhehehehh.

Have a great week people, CNY is just days ahead! I CAN’T WAAAAAIT!

I don’t mean wasted by drinking, getting drunk and wasted, but literally wasted the time off.

Anyway it all started because i saw that my lecturer uploaded new notes for the coming Monday. I wanted to print it in advance so that I won’t have to rush to do it on Sunday night.

And so I switched on my laptop. No idea what I did, anything but printing notes and time just flew by. And by the time I switched it off, with the last agenda being my original intention – print notes. In fact I almost pressed the shut down button and suddenly recalled I haven’t printed the notes at all.

So you get what I mean by procrastination messes up my life?

I intended to get a good rest tonight to start my weekends right but old habits die hard.
Ugh.. Extremely displeased with self.

Forget it. I must learn to be more disciplined. 2012 resolutions, I shall always keep it at the back of my mind.

First week of school is finally over. I expect the next 12 weeks to float by, though it’s going to be tough, I know.

Upcoming presentation on the 30th of Jan! I can’t wait to get over it, really.

And soon enough before we all realize, it’s gonna be the crazy mid-terms. I haven’t exactly consolidated all the dates for all the tests but I think it should be much more manageable than my previous semester. *fingers crossed*

Speaking about school, I’m trying very hard to love the modules I’m taking this semester.

Lecturers are always the major deciding factors, I feel. They either make or break the class, in the sense they either make the students like or dislike the particular module, don’t you agree with me?

I’m hoping for the best! I wanna do well. :)

Alright I guess it’s time to crash after so much whining.

After attending Bioinformatic’s lecture and practical today..

Monday blues are bound to stay.

The level of boredom cannot be described with words. Boring is an understatement.

Oh myyyyyyy.

I hope I pull through this module. I am so very tempted to withdraw from this module and take ecology instead. Except that I don’t like to give up easily.

So I will pull through this.

I promise to sleep early every Sunday, so that I can have the best concentration on Mondays to make the best out of it.

I’m looking forward to learning useful things from this module to aid in my FYP in the near future! :’)

I wish for better school days!! Especially looking forward to level3000 modules, because finally I can study things I like! BIOMEDICAL SCIENCE!!!!!! :)

On a hind note, I hope the workload isn’t too heavy!!

I apply this after my usual toner, and because its oil-free, my face feels super light and non-greasy after that!! As you can guess, the word ‘Concentrate’ clearly tells us its for us to target areas which needs extra attention! Just before the photos become really outdated.. I shall blog about my Tree Top Walk experience last Saturday!! HEHE!

I was really really excited to go for this tree top walk during the previous semester, after our professor showed us some pictures! (I was taking some natural heritage of Singapore module =P)

So.. after alighting at the bus stop, we followed whatever signboards that said Tree Top Walk. & Voilaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!

Still very excited! :D

We wanted a group shot, and my friend had a pro Canon DSLR and a Lumix LX-3. No fear, since we have such good cameras around!

BUT! No tripods for her DSLR! D:

BUT BUT. It suddenly struck me that yours truly brought something!! HAHA.

Guess what!

See my humble purple Powershot SX210 IS? Look at what its held by! Wahahaha, a mini-tripod!

Woohoooo yay! So we could do a group shot! :DD

Super love!! My mini tripod finally proved its worth. haha!

Since the tripod was attached already, I used it to camwhore w/ my friend! Seriously its easier to camwhore cos it extends beyond my arm length! :P Really hilarious!! (Imagine holding onto the ‘legs’ of the tripod instead of the camera body itself.)

& So we walked…

Finally, we’re finally somewhere near!! 0.4KM to the TreeTop walk! Whooooopeeee.

We walked along routes/paths like this.. An arduous walk of at least 30 minutes? I think!

We’re HERE!!! Its the place I was so excited about, for one semester!!

We’re here! YAY! I swear I was still excited even at the entrance of the Tree top walk bridge.

But after I walked a few steps, and saw the end of the bridge ahead of me, all the excitement was gone. So much for the tree top walk!

Because these were all we can see!! I was so disappointed! Hahaha!

But I guess we were not the only disappointed ones.. Got some other visitor to help us take a group shot here.

After the <5 minutes walk across the bridge, it was back to boring steps and forests again! Bleah. Not fun at all!!

Oh well. After the walk.. It was time to reward ourselves! Heehe!

Had lunch at Fat Boy’s burger bar.

I’d say its mediocre food, at a rather steep price! A burger with some fries and a small serving of salad costed at least S$11.00!

Not the kind of food I’d be willing to pay, at that price, but no regrets trying it though. At least I’ve tried Fat Boy’s! Heehehee. Probably just not the 2nd time.

& After that, I headed back home, to JB after an adventurous morning! While the others went on for more adventures at the Botanical gardens. ME WANTS TO GO!!! =(

it also means i get to buy a new laptop, yay! but no yay till i recover my stuffs. sigh.
