I’m typing this entry on my new MacBook Air (MBA)! YIPPEEEE. :))

Been mentioning to my closer friends that I need an upgrade soon and finally, I got it online through Apple’s RED FRIDAY promotion after the brother (Felix) told me! :D Got RM311 off the usual price thanks to the promotion, yay!

If you’re wondering.. I’m no spenthrift!! I’ve been using my previous Compaq laptop since my first year in polytechnic! So its been a good five years(?) and recently its been extremely laggy and slow due to old age as well as it running outta space.. And I decided its a good time and reason (excuse) to change!

Its my second day using it and I’m trying very hard to get used to the Mac OS platform.. Everything here is extremely new to me! Very willing to learn though, I’m loving my MBA, very much. Especially its light weight. :’)

I’m so making sure that I keep my stuffs properly organised inside my MBA!! A promise to myself.

Last Thursday, I went to Timbré @ Old School with my friends! :D We love the local band 53A very much!! :’) It was definitely worth it to climb that 30825294 flight of stairs up the hill just to listen to them.

Anyway.

This unique Hello Kitty debit card is available in all Hong Leong Banks in Malaysia currently! Sadly, yes, only in Malaysia! (No I’m not advertising, just informing all HK-lovers alike me if you’re unaware!)

I’ve seen the adverts for the longest of time and I asked my parents for the card immediately. & Finally finally, in 2012, I got the time to go down to the bank with my I/C to open an account!

Soooooooo happy that I got it! :DD

This is the card I actually got. According to the bank personnel, she told me that this is a Limited Edition one and you have to deposit a certain amount in order to get this!! I think they introduced this card because of the coming Chinese New Year! :)))

So..even though I’m a pink lover, I gave in to the *LIMITED EDITION*.

But I think this card is very pretty too!!! I love the pink and the hearts! AWWWW. Actually I wished I could have both cards. *GREEDY* lol. Anyway, to get this card, you only have to deposit at least RM210.

SO hurryyy go get your hello kitty card because its toooo cute to resist! ♥♥

Its my first post in 2012!

I know I’ve been lagging a little.. Its 8 days into 2012 and so far, I’m enjoying it!

However such days are numbered, school (reality) starts tomorrow. So not looking forward to it, actually. On hind sight, I’m already into year two semester two of my university life. How did 1.5 years past so fast!? In no time, I’d see myself in the graduation gown and my square hat! :D

Anyhow.

Hello 2012.

I’m thankful for 2011.

Grateful for new friends, and old friends that stayed.

Grateful for my parents being healthy and happy, for showering me with tender loving care, anytime, every time.

Grateful for brothers, for loving me, for taking care of me.

Grateful for everything that happened, because I believe in the saying “Everything happens for a reason.” They mould me into who I am, today.

On a happy note, I finally did something to overcome my weakness. I joined  NUS toastmaster’s in late 2011. I’m definitely working on it. :’)

I’m a lucky girl, this year, I managed to travel to a handful of countries!

-Kick-started Chinese New Year 2011 in Bali, Indonesia.

-Overseas Community Involvement Project in Siem Reap, Cambodia, June 2011

-R&R in Phnom Penh, Cambodia and Bangkok, Thailand, June 2011

I remember I wrote down some resolutions in 2011.

1. I definitely didn’t manage to lose weight. =.= I gained instead. But I believe I’m on the healthier side of life because I exercised more! :’)

2. I’m working on this.. I am able to constantly remind myself that I will always regret if I throw tantrums, so yeah..

3. procrastination is still my #1 killer. It messes up my life.

4. Time management still needs more improvement.

5. Less lazy.. hmmmmmmmm.

In 2012.

1. I want to lose weight healthily! Currently planning for weekly badminton sessions with my friends! <3 yayyyy!

2. I want to kill my last-minute-habit. Stop doing things last minute, always be ready!

3. Time management! For school, for social life.

4. Work on Toastmaster’s projects :D! The only way to overcome one’s weakness is to do IT.

5. Blog more! Since I always tend to have the ‘feel’ to blog whenever I’m busy! =.= Possible with better time management, I believe.

This should be all for now. I hope I’ll remember to review these resolutions in a few month’s time, or probably half way into the year. :))

I also hope to do something I like; which is to take up dance course in school!! But I don’t think I should kill myself this semester. We’ll see about that..

HAPPY 2012 people! I hope we’ll all have a splendid 2012 ahead!

People in Taiwan REALLY LOVE DOGS!! (Haven’t seen much of cats though) And they bring their dogs everywhere they go. Thus I’ve been seeing dogs everywhere on the streets. So pampered and cute!! Alot of people are selling dog’s clothes as well, I believe especially in this season due to the chilly weather. This dog’s owner bought the pom a dinosaur attire. SUPER CUTEEE but I didn’t capture it! :O

It is baked inside this well-like thing with charcoal! So unique right!! All the little round buns you see inside is the Hu Jiao Bing! (Pepper biscuit – directly translated!) The person have to dig out the buns one by one!

The next day, we went to Sun Moon Lake! Pretty pretty place!

Daddy’s friend says it would be perfect if we could spend a night there, but our tour package didn’t! We only went on a boat ‘tour’ around the lake!

I don’t know how to describe its beauty.. But this photo is definitely not doing the place justice! You need to be there to enjoy the breathtaking view!

If I didn’t remember wrongly, the tour guide mentioned that Sun Moon Lake is made up of two parts. One side of it resembles a Sun while the other resembles a Moon! Thus there comes the name!

Firstly, I’m finally done with year 2 semester 1 of university!!! :’) I’m so proud of myself *thick-skinned. so many people did it anyway. hahah

But it was one hell of a semester. Like what i told all my friends, I’d been study-marathon-ing since weeks ago, not because I was hardworking, but because I had test(s) almost every other week after week 6 of school. It was horrendous, I could barely breathe, not literally though. lolol, Else I wouldn’t be typing away now..

Then again, probably because it is because I’m in my second year; as my friends told me second year of uni is the worst year. I really hope this is true because this only means I’m half way through!!! :DDDD

I’m thankful for friends who encouraged me through out the semester, to keep me through! THANK YOU FRIENDS, each and everyone of you who gave me a word of encouragement at one point of time! yayyyy! I had thoughts of quitting school, again. Probably I’ll have that every sem. :/ Buuut the stress was really immense. Really really really. Imagine studying EVERY week for the upcoming test(s). Done with one, then have to prepare for the next. -.-

December is here!!! The season to be joyous and folly! :D

Its the second day into December and I’m lovin’ it!!

The first of december saw me meeting my secondary school pals; to celebrate Jy’s birthday! An absolutely chillaxing day! Jy and I started the day off with brunch, then to my place to enjoy the spa pool and then the pool itself. A perfect and relaxing start to the holidays! :D *random- and it was then i realized i cannot stand warm jacuzzi and stuffs like that. warm and low oxygen and stuffy. i felt like I was really out of oxygen! haha.

Afterwhich, albeit running late, we took our own sweet time (or rather just me), bathed and prepared to leave home for karaoke!! :D We went to Teo Heng KTV, the Sembawang Shopping Centre outlet to singsong! hehehe. Pre-arranged a little surprise for the upcoming birthday girl! Definitely couldn’t have done it without Sy! :) Love singing and cheap KTV = AWESOMEEE :DD But we were late for almost an hour, so we were left with only 2 hours to sing! :((

Spent the second day of December with Mommy! :)

Went for facial, which was by far my worst experience!!! I blame school and exams for the stress leading to the crazy amounts of breakouts on my face. I’ve never had so much pimples on my face before!!! :(( Now the scars are so red and sore and painful! & I have a gathering to attend tomorrow. WHUUUT.

Anyway. There’s so many things going on these few months. Ups and Downs.

Some people made me lose my respect for them. Respect is something that we earn gradually, but once its gone, its gone.

I AM TWENTY-ONE. (as much as I don’t wanna be..)

Today. marks. the day.

I’ve been on mother Earth for 21 years, officially, thanks to my parents! <3

Thinking of it, I wished I had a party (wait, not that I’m regretting..) to congregate all the important people in my life, to celebrate the occasion. My family, my dearest friends.. (Still looking for the loved one. loll!) Of course, I’ve decided not to because of the time/period of my birthday. (It never fails to clash with Mid-terms tests, urghhh) As well of all the stress and hassle due to that.

Nevertheless, even without a party, I could still feel the warmth and love from my friends and family!! :)) I’m a 21yo-happy-girl!! :D

21 in 2011.

This faithful year. I had lost some friends, made some awesome new friends, and of course, maintained good friendships with all my beloveds! I guess this is part and parcel of life, very natural. Thank you for staying by my side, dear friends.

& Of course my dear parents and brothers. I know they’ll always be there. :)) It didn’t take me 21 years to realise though, I always knew.

Anyway, I just wanna leave a post on this special day of mine, 24th September 2011. I will update again after the midterms!! Lots to share!

Anyway. It was DADDY LOVE’s birthday a couple of days back.

A simple dinner & a Chocolate Banana Secret Recipe cake to celebrate the occasion.

I know my daddy will never visit this place. BUT I still wanna say. I LOVE YOU DADDY! You’re the best Daddy one can ever have!!! <3

Highlight of dinner was this Blue Lobster dish! Can’t exactly remember but it was air-flown somewhere from London?!? I asked a ridiculous question when the dish was served. “Why is the lobster not blue?” Of course it isn’t after its cooked! & Then I recalled I even knew why the reason seafood like prawns and lobsters turn red when cooked… So silly!
