Cute Little Litter Munchers!!
Aug 22nd
Are you one who’s picky & choosy for every single thing you buy? Say, even your very own dustbin? HAHA! To be honest, I’m one choosy person, to the extend that I will only buy something (as simple as my dust bin) if I really like it!! =P
For example, my dustbin MUST be pink in colour, and the shade of pink must be nice! *I know nice is subjective, so it must at least be nice, to me* Hehe! I absolutely love it when I buy things in the shades of PINK! :)
& Why am I talking about dustbins out of no where?!?!
Its because, this Saturday (21st of August), I headed down to Holland Village with a few bloggers to *admire* these cute litter munchers!
If you’re wondering what on Earth am I babbling about on and on..
These litter munchers that I’ve been talking about are litterbins that have been creatively embellished to engage youths to take ownership to keep their surrounding environment clean. It is a nationwide campaign organised by the National Environment Agency (NEA) to curb littering!
There are a total of 5 different litter munchers..
& of all, Munster Muncher is my favourite!!!!!!
I was super excited and elated to see Munster Muncher yesterday and I swear it looked better in REAL than in this photo above! This photo prototype above isn’t doing Munster Muncher justice… Coz you can really see the furry texture of the Munster! HEHEHE. I have a fetish for furry things, even though its a bin this time round! >.>
Besides Munster Muncher, Robo and Inda Bingo Muncher was there @ Holland V too! :D
I don’t really fancy robots but Robo Muncher looked cute too! It looks exactly like how it appears here! Inda Bingo Muncher was cool too, with its spear and shield, the real bin we saw was an exact replica of the one shown above. Impressive. Imagine how much effort and time is spent just to embellish a mundane bin to such cute lil’ interesting character-bins!
Not forgetting, an interactive website, http://www.littermunchers.com.sg/ had been created just for you guys! There are games and contests going on. The on going contests allows you to design your own litter muncher and stand to win fantastic prizes!! Don’t believe you see for yourself!
I also want Apple iPad! T_T I’m gonna take part in the contest too, after I’m done with all my tutorials! :DDD!!! Hope I can win something! :3
Anyway, the bottom line of this campaign is to inform and encourage ALL OF US to curb the habit of littering! We all know how ‘convenient’ & easy it is to litter but if everyone controls the lazy litter bug in us, we’ll all have a better place to live in!!!
The NEA is taking alot of effort to make nice dustbins to make us stop littering to make Singapore a greener, cleaner city, so all it takes is a little more effort to hold on the rubbish that we have for a little longer until we find a bin to dump it! :D
Okay shall not continueeee typing so much! Show you some piccas! :D
Thats the ecstatic me with Munster Muncher! <3 It looks damn cute right! Especially its tongue which is sticking out!
Munster & his friend Robo! HEHE
A closed up shot of Robo!
Another personal photo of Munster! Love it!
This is Inda Binga!!! Told ‘cha! So much effort! :)
& If you were observant enough, the first 50 people who takes a photo with these Litter Munchers could claim a drink coupon from Wala Wala! This is my coupon!
& All of us went to Wala Wala to chillax! :D
This is the drink I ordered! A mocktail – Mango Crush! HAHA! *No alcohol*
When we were leaving, there were still alot of people taking photos with the bins! HEHE. So cute lah! Actually the whole time we were there, there are alot of people who were there too!
HAHA! I ended my Saturday night after that and headed back to JB! Super long day where I left home at 9am! But it was a good day spent! ;)
I’ll update again! :D
Au Revoir Taipei – Movie Review
Aug 20th
Yesterday was the day I stepped into the theatres after awhile. (Last movie I watched was Sorcerer’s Apprentice!)
I managed to catch the movie I’ve always wanted to, which was Au Revoir Taipei. The reason why I wanted to watch was, firstly because of my extreme-fascination/fetish for Taiwan. Its a country I’ve been wanting to go, to nom-noms at their night market, to shop till I drop. Secondly, the poster was really intriguing, nicely designed, deceiving enough.
You see, nice or not!?!?!? Nice right??
Anyway. The whole duration of the movie was 83 minutes. The whole flick was really slow, so bad that it felt like I had been watching the movie for 2-3 hours already, but in reality, it was only around an hour. It was the first movie (from what I could remember), that I had the urge of leaving the theatres half way. (OH, I remember, the other movie I really left the theatres was ‘PERHAPS LOVE’, it was a musical-like movie, few years back.) But well, I stayed on of course..
I’d give this movie 2/5 stars. My friend said I’m already very generous. HAHA!
At the end of the 83 minutes, I felt like I wasted 83 minutes of my time, and 6 bucks on watching the movie!
I was so jealous of the person who was queuing infront of me at the ticketing booth. They bought tickets for Step up 3. :C :C :C I think any other movies which was showing would be better than this lur!
Okay, this was their funny ending scene..
But well well, this movie was good in the sense it was able to portray some of the highlights of Taipei/Taiwan. Like their food street etc. It’d probably be better as a tourism-related advertisement instead of a movie, except that its too draggy and long.
No matter what, I’d still love Taiwan, and someday in the near future, I hope my dreams will come true. I want to be on the lands of Taiwan for a short trip soon!! :]
Moon cake festival!
Aug 19th
Hello everybody!!
I promise this is going to be a happy post! :D HEHE.
Its Thursday! ONE more day to Friday! YAY! I only have one lecture tomorrow :) *HAPPY*
Anyway.. I guess by now, everyone should know the Moon Cake festival is around the corner.. Do you guys celebrate the day? By.. drinking chinese tea and eating moon cakes while admiring the moon? HAHA!
Its gonna be here perhaps in roughly a month/slightly more! I bet you guys only realise it because all the confectionaries/bakeries have already started selling moon cakes! Or maybe because you’re informed about 7th Lunar Month *hush* thats why.. Because thats how I know Moon cake festival is arriving too! :P
Anyway! Mommy already started making some moon cakes!! :D I’m not a total moon cake fan because I think that its urgh, fattening and a lil’ too sweet so I don’t consume much!
Show you the cute lil piggies that Mommy made :D
Its handmade, so each and every piggy are unique in terms of their shapes and all. :D
Our piggy family :P
:D
A pair of piggies!
3 little pigs! Remember the childhood story about the 3 lil pigs and the wolf? HAHA!
Actually I kinda like the butts!
I think they are cute! Their curly tails! :D
& This is mom’s favourite piggy. She claims that it looks damn sleepy (and cute)!!
Fishys!!!
These are actually my favourite kind of moon cakes! Because they have no fillings, thus not sweet/ less fattening! *grins* Om-nom-noms!!
Can you recall what fish is this? There was a crazy frenzy fetish for this fish few years back! Its the luo-han fish! Where they have a bulging ‘forehead’!! HAHA!! My mom even got molds for sucha fish – _ – lol!!
All the fishes in a tupperware! :D
Alright! I’ll be back again! :)))
its all for the best
Aug 17th
Its been awhile.
I haven’t chatted with my baby brother for ages. Reason #1 being, he blocked me/ Felix/ and god-knows who else on MSN. So we’ll never see him online. Reason #2, when we quarrel, we’re really on ‘bad-terms’ so to speak, where I’ll dread replying/talking to him. HEEEE. *guilty*
& Just awhile ago, I talked to him because I needed a favour of him. He gleefully obliged to help me. I love my brothers♥, when they are in good mood. Seriously they are the sweetest angels when they’re in the right mood, but the darkest clouds ever, otherwise. HAHA! HELLO BROTHERS, I ♥ YOUU!!
Woody Ker, jiayou for school ;)!

I woke up feeling extremely light-hearted today. No idea why either! Probably because its a sunny day after many many wet mornings! It was a great day afterall, despite the 10-7pm lessons! I survived another day! ;) & I guess it was my happy goody mood, that I hardly fell asleep during lessons, at most for a couple of seconds! Which is really good, to me, usually I’d just doze off. HEHE.
ANYWAY. Just got reminded about the History module I was ranting about. I was 5-10minutes late for the lessons again today, and ended up sitting on the CARPETTED FLOOR because the lecture theatre looked so filled up! Mad pissed for the 1 hour. Can you imagine, I felt like I was listening to a live broadcast of the lessons, because I couldn’t even see the face of my professor. All I could see was heads of the people infront, and the projector screen. :C
After the first hour, there was a 5 minutes break and I reckoned I have to find a seat, since my friend needed to talk to the profs as well. So we headed to the front and spoke to them, as well as brought up the issue about sitting on the ground. I was really happy because the professors were understanding and nice! They asked us to sit in the front rows (which usually are not filled) even if we reached late. :D:D So yay, I’m never gonna ever sit on the ground again. And both last Tuesday and today, I wore a skirt to school, and had to sit on the ground. Pfffft. :C
It was a little tough sitting in the first row, imagine watching a movie while seating on the front rows, yeap exactly how it felt. But better than nothing! :] History seems a little more bearable with nice professors who are actually quite humorous. (I just couldn’t enjoy their jokes when I had to sit on the ground can!) *HAPPPPPPPY*
&& There’s a bazaar going on in the faculty of Science!! Its super awesome because they brought Koi bubble tea to school to sell, to raise funds for.. something. I can’t remember!! HAHA. So I’ve got Koi to accompany me for my 2nd lecture of the day! (opps, probably its Koi that kept me awake! I’m pretty sensitive to caffeine!) Anyway if you guys are near Science/ from FoS, support them by buying a cuppa from their stall! :D Its all for a good cause, and you can have Koi in NUS!!! Zomg I wished this can happen everyday!!!! :)) Oh in case you are wondering where, the bazaar is located outside Lt27! ;) They only have Koi for 3 days, starting from today, so two days left!! Faster go grab!!!! ^^

Happy pills I need youuu
Aug 17th
Hello everyone.
This is week two of school. I’m surviving, but struggling.
This kind of feeling sucks, pretty much.
I can’t exactly cope well.
I hate the fact that I’ve a history module (under arts) to cover. Like, hello, why would I want to know about the Yuan, Ming, Qing dynasty and so on? I’m totally into the wrong module, and all I can wish for is that I persevere on. Seriously, arts modules are crazy because they give us a zillion readings to do. The articles are not short. They are like 10 over pages.
Goodness me.
No more arts module anymore pleasezxzxzx. I pray for awesome modules that I like, the next semester.
Besides electives, I have 3 core modules. & I can’t for goodness sake remember much of what I’ve did in SP. This is bad. Which is why I’m struggling. I can’t even do chemistry pH calculations for nuts.
Can you feel my agony?
I’d have probably posted this before, but it totally suits how I feel right now. I’m going to take a ‘nap’, catch some sleep, and attend school at 10 tomorrow. No break, till 7pm. School’s aweeeeeeeesome much, right?
I’m sorry for the rumblings; but I know you could feel I needed exactly that. A space to voice my frustrations.
Somebody, tell me its going to be worth it.
I need happy pills, right now.
It looks like you came from ritzilystylish.com. It's now
