Its time to start Feecha-ing!

Hello hunny-pies!

Have y’all heard about the up and coming new app called Feecha?

Sounds cute, aye? I’m guessing its trying to sound like the word ‘feature’! Let me tell you why so.

Feecha is a mobile geo-blogging app where people post about whatever they find interesting about a particular location!

So you ‘Feecha’ (feature) something you find interesting, wherever it is!

This is what you’ll see!

The alien like thingy there shows that somebody Feecha-ed something there! (Its me :P) The bigger the alien, the more Feechas, so you'll never miss them!

So for example – I’m walking along Orchard road and I see some random interesting performances, I can just add a Feecha at the particular location about it! So people nearby can see the Feecha and know where exactly it is happening!

The location aspect of Feecha is what makes it different.  It’s about knowing what’s going on in a location and interacting with the people in it.

Its like a combination of twitter and foursquare at the same time, but BETTER! Your tweets/foursquare check-ins are only visible to your friends.

In Feecha, your friends as well as the general population using Feecha can see. So everyone can share all the good tips/deals with the community easily! Its a win-win situation for everyone like that! 

Share your Feecha on Facebook/Twitter/Tumblr!

If you’re worried you’ll neglect your facebook/twitter, fret not! You can set to send your Feecha to Facebook, Twitter and even Tumblr! :)) So, your friends not on Feecha yet can still see your interesting Feechas. Probably they’ll start using Feecha too because of all the perks you shared!

Let me give another example… Let’s say there’s some mega sales at some shops, so if I were to see it, I would share it on Feecha. Then people around that area will chance upon my Feecha and voila, they get to know about the sales too! :)) Isn’t that awesome? Girls.. Imagine the shop is F21.. H&M.. lol. :D

Add photos, videos or even links to your Feecha!

You can also add a photo/video/link to the Feecha! So you can Feecha with ‘evidence’ too! ^^

gimme a confidence boost, anybody?

hello sweets!

its 10 minutes to 2am, and i’m awake blogging (instead of anything else more productive).

actually its because i’m waiting for my hair to dry before i could sleep. so its also a good reason to stay awake, but for the wrong reasons as well. -_- okay i know i’m confusing.

today. i learnt about a lot of things.

its only today, that i realised, how little confidence i have, as a girl.

plenty of good opportunities, i missed. in the past years.

as i was thinking about all these.. i thought of the song 那些年。。

那些年 错过的大雨。。

but well life goes on. it doesn’t matter already by now.

what that matters, IS THE FUTURE.

i’m looking forward. :’)

anyhows, just around a month ago, like a week before CNY, i had a really bad eye allergy attack! and my eyes were blood-shot RED.

this photo couldn't exactly capture the redness of my eye, but you get the idea. it was so painful i was tearing for hours! T___T

and so. 2012′s CNY broke my record, at least in the recent years. i spent CNY with my spectacles instead of contact lens because the eye specialist said no! :(

my family and i went to China for a 5D4N tour for CNY. the first trip that i probably took less than 10 photos?!? i’m quite certain of that. because i think i look too hideous. T___T

& i spent my CNY holidays being a speckyz. took this at the airport :O i love my shoe!

teehee sorry i haven’t sorted out my photos from china. but in fact i didn’t take much photos too. but you will see the photos when i’m more free. (school is killing me now!)

welll…i got bored while waiting for my hair to be dried. so.. here goes. MY SPECKY FACE rawhhhhhh. heheh photobooth love! will love it more when i can be more vain! lol. i’m still not allowed to wear contact lenses. at least for another two months. hoping for good news from the specialist after that! :’)))

lessons i learnt today

its been a long while. so long that i’m desperate to pen down an entry! i miss spending time penning down my thoughts, my happy times, my less-happy times..

school’s been talking a toll on me. its week 5!! friends, we’re almost half way through the semester! :) if you promised yourself to be more diligent this semester, its time to start now and keep your engine going! we all don’t wanna end up regretting at the end of the semester, don’t we?

 

anyway, while on my journey home from school today.. i figured something. and that i will start cultivating the habit of penning down something i learn, everyday!

for instance. today. i was at buona vista mrt, walking from the circle line platform towards the north-east(?) red line. i was only ~30seconds-1minute away from the red line platform, that i spotted that the information indicated that the train towards jurong east (which is my destination) has arrived. upon seeing that, i was at the bottom of the escalator (~30secs away) towards the platform, and i decided that, i’m sure gonna miss this train. so i decided to stay put on the escalator instead of walking up.

i assumed that the train must have arrived for a bit, and i’ll definitely not catch it.

but when i was reaching the platform, i saw that the door of the mrt just closed seconds before that. and that if i walked up the escalator, i could have saved at least 5 minutes on my journey home because the next train took 5 minutes.

the point isn’t the 5 minutes, but it was the assumption.

sometimes in life, we assume too much. it makes the possible impossible. it makes the once possible, less probable. so this is one lesson i learnt today.

bet you heard this before: ASSUMING makes an ASS out of yoU and ME. ASS-U-ME.

so dear friends. stop assuming. start asking, start clearing your queries/doubts. if you’re contemplating on doing something big (eg confessing to someone, hahaha) you got to take the first step. do not assume. :D

 

and then while i was walking home from the MRT, a nice lady was infront of me, she was probably like 15 seconds (in distance) ahead of me. once she entered the gated door, she turned her head to see if there was anyone behind her that needed to enter the door (and it was me! i needed to.) that simple gesture might have spent her 10 seconds holding the door, but it definitely plastered a smile on my face, and i thanked her for that.

as much as a simple gesture it was, i felt so grateful. even though i do this too when i exit/enter the door, it is often forgotten that how such minor gestures, might just make someone’s  bad day, better, and someone’s good day, awesome! :)

so lesson number two. simple gestures which do not cost us almost anything, might be simple, but they definitely can light up somebody’s life.

 

adding on. i had such a bad DAY in school today, because lectures were the least productive. learnt nothing during my 6 hours in school today. hmmfpfhf.

but i had an enjoyable NIGHT, in school as well. thankful. grateful. :)

Hello sweets!

I’m typing this entry on my new MacBook Air (MBA)! YIPPEEEE. :))

Been mentioning to my closer friends that I need an upgrade soon and finally, I got it online through Apple’s RED FRIDAY promotion after the brother (Felix) told me! :D Got RM311 off the usual price thanks to the promotion, yay!

If you’re wondering.. I’m no spenthrift!! I’ve been using my previous Compaq laptop since my first year in polytechnic! So its been a good five years(?) and recently its been extremely laggy and slow due to old age as well as it running outta space.. And I decided its a good time and reason (excuse) to change!

Its my second day using it and I’m trying very hard to get used to the Mac OS platform.. Everything here is extremely new to me! Very willing to learn though, I’m loving my MBA, very much. Especially its light weight. :’)

I’m so making sure that I keep my stuffs properly organised inside my MBA!! A promise to myself.

Teehee, alright. Thats all folks tonight!

Last Thursday, I went to Timbré @ Old School with my friends! :D We love the local band 53A very much!! :’) It was definitely worth it to climb that 30825294 flight of stairs up the hill just to listen to them.

I’m already anticipating my next visit to wherever to listen to them! Hehhehehehh.
