I just received another letter from the SEGi University College and this really heightened my curiosity level.

The question is HOW DO THEY GET MY NAME, and ADDRESS, and know that I’ve just graduated? — My biggest question mark (?).

Thing is, I’ve been schooling in Singapore since young. To be exact, since Primary one. I’ve been educated in Singapore all along and I really wonder how they found out I just graduated from Singapore Poly. I’ve NEVER applied for local universities in Malaysia before too.

After discussing the issue with my brother, we came up with a conclusion – someone somewhere must have sold our particulars to these local universities. Brother mentioned that he had letters years back too.

Without much thoughts, in our opinions, we could only boil down the culprit to IDP Education Pty Ltd (JB, Malaysia). (I’m just saying, you don’t have to agree, or you might wanna update me about how it works in Malaysia.) IDP is the ONLY “company” that should know we graduated because both of us applied to Australia universities and they are the ones who have all our particulars, results, etc.
