Cute Little Litter Munchers!!

Are you one who’s picky & choosy for every single thing you buy? Say, even your very own dustbin? HAHA! To be honest, I’m one choosy person, to the extend that I will only buy something (as simple as my dust bin) if I really like it!! =P

For example, my dustbin MUST be pink in colour, and the shade of pink must be nice! *I know nice is subjective, so it must at least be nice, to me* Hehe! I absolutely love it when I buy things in the shades of PINK! :)

& Why am I talking about dustbins out of no where?!?!

Its because, this Saturday (21st of August), I headed down to Holland Village with a few bloggers to *admire* these cute litter munchers!

If you’re wondering what on Earth am I babbling about on and on..

These litter munchers that I’ve been talking about are litterbins that have been creatively embellished to engage youths to take ownership to keep their surrounding environment clean. It is a nationwide campaign organised by the National Environment Agency (NEA) to curb littering!

There are a total of 5 different litter munchers..

& of all, Munster Muncher is my favourite!!!!!!

I was super excited and elated to see Munster Muncher yesterday and I swear it looked better in REAL than in this photo above! This photo prototype above isn’t doing Munster Muncher justice… Coz you can really see the furry texture of the Munster! HEHEHE. I have a fetish for furry things, even though its a bin this time round! >.>

Besides Munster Muncher, Robo and Inda Bingo Muncher was there @ Holland V too! :D

I don’t really fancy robots but Robo Muncher looked cute too! It looks exactly like how it appears here! Inda Bingo Muncher was cool too, with its spear and shield, the real bin we saw was an exact replica of the one shown above. Impressive. Imagine how much effort and time is spent just to embellish a mundane bin to such cute lil’ interesting character-bins!

Not forgetting, an interactive website, http://www.littermunchers.com.sg/ had been created just for you guys! There are games and contests going on. The on going contests allows you to design your own litter muncher and stand to win fantastic prizes!! Don’t believe you see for yourself!

I also want Apple iPad! T_T I’m gonna take part in the contest too, after I’m done with all my tutorials! :DDD!!! Hope I can win something! :3

Anyway, the bottom line of this campaign is to inform and encourage ALL OF US to curb the habit of littering! We all know how ‘convenient’ & easy it is to litter but if everyone controls the lazy litter bug in us, we’ll all have a better place to live in!!!

The NEA is taking alot of effort to make nice dustbins to make us stop littering to make Singapore a greener, cleaner city, so all it takes is a little more effort to hold on the rubbish that we have for a little longer until we find a bin to dump it! :D

Okay shall not continueeee typing so much! Show you some piccas! :D

HAHA! I ended my Saturday night after that and headed back to JB! Super long day where I left home at 9am! But it was a good day spent! ;)

I’ll update again! :D

How I use Post-it®!

I’m sure everyone have heard of the brand Post-it® right! Yes, don’t doubt yourself, its the brand that produces Post-it® Notes! No suprises, this entry is gonna be on how i use these Post-it® Super Sticky Notes! :D

I’m a little outdated, but I just realised Post-it® is having a “How You Use It” contest. Simply participate by showing how you use these lil’ sticky notes!! OHHH YES, the contest ends on the 18th of April, which is two days later! (I’m glad I realised it late, but still in time to participate! :] )

This is how you can take part in the POST-IT® “How you use it” contest, and win AWESOME prizes like Apple iPad, iTouch, or Nintendo Wii.

Simply by..

1) Taking a picture/video of how you use your Post-it® Super Sticky Notes
2) Go to http://www.howyouuseit.com.sg/contests and submit your photo/video! (remember to register as a member or log in as an existing member before you submit your photos/videos!)

and just wait..
3) Stand a chance to win an Apple iPad, Nintendo Wii or iTouch!

I’ll now continue with HOW I USE Post-it® Super Sticky Notes! :)

[apologies for the mediocre quality photos because I used my phone. got no camera to use! ): ]

Write your targets!

yes, I use it to write my target to motivate myself! (if you are wondering what exactly am I writing before the >3.7, it is cumm. GPA. meaning cummulative GPA!)

BUT. don't stick it anywhere! (p.s.: i look damn chui, paiseh!)

To me, it is very important that I see such motivational notes everyday, as much as possible, to keep myself constantly reminded that I have a target to meet. So, for me, I stick it on my dressing table mirror, which I face every morning. Yes, and get motivated everytime I see it! In my opinion, the best places to stick them are on mirrors that you face everyday, or on your notice board which you update very frequently!

P.P.S.: These motivational POST-it® notes really really help me a lot during my secondary (‘O’ levels) and polytechnic life! By saying help, i meant they motivated me. Don’t think I’m bull-shitting and making up a story here, I really have these lil POST-it® Super Sticky notes on my notice boards when i was studying!

Besides.. I also use them to make notes. Imagine text books like these..

where you find almost everything important and end up highlighting almost everything. so, now, whats really important!?!?!? and look even below and above the texts, i scribble some stuffs here and there. they are seriously messy!!

seee, look at this. HOW TO STUDY!?!?!?!

LOOK AT MY LOVELY SUPER STICKY NOTES!

SEEE THE DIFFERENCE! :)) Much neater and easy to see! Write and summarize important points on the Post-it® Super Sticky Notes!! Now its all clear and less confusing to study! Moreover all these Post-it® Super Sticky Notes are in ultra vibrant colours! You want to miss them out also cannot lor!

YAY! easier to study, easier to remember!!

Do you agreeee with me?

Doesn’t it make the jobs of our eyes simpler. No need to search through the whole chunk of text just to get the main point. Once and for all, pick the points out and write it on Post-it® Super Sticky Notes, and stick them next to the information! In case you don’t get what you wrote few months back, just refer to the text to refresh your memory!! (:

I love Post-it® Super Sticky Notes for all their bright and vibrant colours!!! and I love them for being so convenient!!!

if you are still wondering what on earth Post-it® Super Sticky Notes am i talking about. HERE’s how the super sticky notes look!! hehehe.

i love this premium series of sticky notes because they ‘stick practically anywhere!’ and don’t come out easily, which is quite irritating if they do. :)

and. they have SUPER-DUPER cute super sticky DIE-CUT series tooo. T_T

I CAN HAS THIS PLEASE!!!

YOU SAY CUTE ANOT!!!! I ALSO WANNNNNT!!
