My Bio-essence SuperStar Bloggers Party!

Hello people!

Remember back then, I was doing a review about the Bio-essence’s BB creams? Its here and here!

YiPEEEEEEEEEEE! & YES! I got on to stage 2 of the contest! ;) Thanks to those who redeemed the samples! I hope you enjoy them as much as I did!

As you can see, it was located in Bounce, Iluma, the mall in Bugis! It was my first time up to the 7th level! Open roof concept, I like! :)

It was a comfy and nice place, planned for the event!

I went there alone ( :((( ) but thank god! I met this girl! :D HEHE!

& Shortly after, the first representative from Bio-essence kick-start the event!

After a short briefing, it was time for our refreshments! Om nom nom nom!!

I hope my photos don’t look completely non-appetizing! Because I didn’t arrange my food properly on my plate and thus I had a hard time taking a decent photo of the ‘main course food’ and the desserts separately. Heee.

While we were enjoying our food…

They had a demonstration on how to take fantastic photos! I know the contrast is BAD I shall type it out!

-A fair complexion to stand out from the rest

-Youthful, V-shaped facial contours

-Ultra smooth and well hydrated skin that reflects light naturally and beautifully!

I think they all makes sense! *nods*

They were demonstrating on these series of products!

& I really tried it on my hands. <3 how my hands felt after exfoliating! SUPER SOFT; I’m not lying!!

They even tried this Face Lifting Cream with ATP on one of the blogger!!!

I swear it freaking works. EVEN with my naked eye, I could see the obvious difference in contours!!! Seriously, I was amazed! & My friends on the table could notice it too!

The demonstrator was measuring her face contours before and after. Too unbelievable. It was not even 10 minutes when she measured.

& Oh..

Did I mention, Bio-essence is the No. 1 Brand in Facial care in Singapore!!?! They’ve also been awarded the best Asian Brand in both 2009 and 2010! HEHE, so awesome!

Coool huh?!

I like how their products are TRUE to their CLAIMS! They can really deliver what they attain! <3

Next on the agenda.. was to decorate our very own BB Cream on the most creative way we can!!!

HAHAHA THIS IS ME AND MY DECORATED BB CREAM!!! P.S: don’t laugh at the ugly design okay. I really didn’t know what to do! Nevertheless, I still love the ribbon on top! 3CUTE LEH, i think.

BB Cream to the rescue! Part II!

Hello guys! :))) Remember my previous review on Bio-essence’s BB Cream? This is my 2nd review on their Bio Platinum BB Cream, one thats mainly for whitening! My favourite! ;)

The 3 different BB Cream series!

&Yes! This is the one I’m reviewing about.

Remember in my previous review, the other BB Cream had 8 benefits already?? I’m amazed, 8 seemed a lot already right, but this newer series has 10!!! 10 freaking awesome benefits all at one go. & It has whitening effect somemore! <3

These are all the 10 in 1 Multiple Efficacies:

Whitening and skin brightening (Thanks to Tanaka extract, heard of it?!)

The differences are pretty obvious, as usual. If you feel that its not justified, press the picture to have a better view!! I personally can see the very obvious differences!! Much more even skin tone, blemishes/red spots covered, looks much smoother as well!

&Just FYI, if you’re wondering why BB creams are much more natural when applied..

traditional base makeup requires the user to wear different layers of makeup (sunscreen, moisturizer, foundation, concealer, loose powder etc), so the coverage appears less natural and cakey compared to the BB Cream (only need 1 product to conceal, whiten, sunscreen and base makeup)

BB Cream to the rescue! Part I

Thanks to The Sample Store, I got Bio-essence’s BB Cream to try out!

I have to admit, this is actually the first time I got to use a BB Cream on myself. Because I was very skeptical about such a product. Everyone knows that BB creams are amazing, to me, its too good to be true. They’re so awesome; instead of applying many different products 1 at a time, you can just cover your face with a layer of it as it acts like a moisturizer, sunblock, concealer, makeup base and so on.

I got to try all 3 BB cream of the Bio-essence BB Cream series; (L-R)

1. Aqua BB Cream (Mainly for moisture)

2. Bio Platinum BB Cream (Mainly for whitening)

3. Bio Multi-effect BB Cream (Mainly for coverage)

Actually all 3 are equally good, so it depends on your skin type/ what you desire. For me, I’m definitely going for whitening, if I have to make a choice. Girls with relatively dry skin might opt for the Aqua series one..

Anyway! I tried on the

Bio Multi-Effect BB Cream

first! Awesome-posome 8-in-1 effects with SPF 25 coverage.

As mentioned above, this series has the strongest coverage out of the 3!

I absolutely love the flawless and natural nude makeup looks it creates especially when I have pimple outbreaks. HAHA! *Covers all the ugly redness* It can be easily applied evenly on our face. No worries about it causing uneven patches! More importantly, it doesn’t clog our pores!

Ooooh & Just a tip, it is better to pat your BB Cream gently(!!) on your face instead of spreading it!

It is pretty obvious that my redness and spots reduced remarkably; and the smooth layer it created was really natural. I was really happy with the results! (The first time I experience the awesomeness of this BB cream!) I could even go out with the BB cream as my final layer w/o any powder on. But of course, you can always apply a thin layer of loose powder if you want.

If you don’t believe me, you can always try on their sample when redeeming of these BB creams samples starts! I will put up the widget soon! :) Try it and you’ll know!

My face isn’t very oily even after I was out the whole day with the BB cream on! :D

FYI, in a recent survey done by HK Fashion and Beauty Magazine, this BB cream emerged as the top choice in terms of being the BB cream that adheres most closely to the skin for flawless coverage.

Biore Makeup Remover!

Hello everybody! :D Were you wondering why I have referrals for you guys to get free Make up removers? Heh! Its because..

Thanks to TheSampleStore, I got access to these Biore Makeup Remover, and I’m here to deliver a review about them! :D

Anyway. Truthfully, Biore had been one of the brands I’d wanted to try, but due to those emerging Jap brands, I’d been ‘forgetting’ about their presence and thus, until I received the samples, it was the first time I actually used Biore’s.

HEHE. Camwhore. But I look damn *ugly* So yeappp small piccas :)

In order to show you its effectiveness, I must of course prove with pictures right!

The Biore Makeup Remover for Eye and Lip!!

The first pink line is a crayon pink eyeliner, followed by a blue crayon eyeliner, black pencil eyeliner and lastly a WATERPROOF SMUDGEPROOF eyeliner.

The first 3 eyeliners were gone immediately after one wipe, while the waterproof one gone by at least half!

Everyone would know water/smudgeproof eyeliners are the most preferred so-to-speak because they won’t run when we sweat or when our face gets oily as the day proceeds. BUT its always a pain in the ass to remove them completely at the end of the day. Because apparently they are supposed to be smudgeproof what, right! (& this brand that i’m using is extremely stubborn, btw!)

But I really think its not that bad. Don’t need to rub that much to remove,compared to my previous brand of remover! It can save my eyes from more ‘FINE LINES (:/) and lesser eye lashes dropping off (when the population is already not a lot to start with).

Oh yes, notice I asked you guys to shake before use? & saw the difference between the colour? Its because it contains two-layer micro-active cleansing formula with moisturising ingredients; & of course that includes Hyaluronic Acid (guess everyone should have heard of this.. it keeps ur skin supple and fresh!)

Its specially formulated for Eyes and Lips makeup removal..as the name suggests!

Next up..

The Biore Hydra-Clear Makeup Remover!

From top to bottom: Water/Smudgeproof eyeliner, Crayon blue eyeliner, pencil black eyeliner and waterproof mascara!

This is the other range of remover that is specially formulated by Biore. Again, its highly effective at removing waterproof makeup! Look at the waterproof mascara, almost gone! No need to rub so hard already!

What I really like about this is that it does not leave the skin feel oily after using because its water-base formulated! The previous brands that I’ve used, was oil based and it really feels yucky, and must chop-chop bathe immediately after removing my make up! :S & I get so lazy all the time..

Aiya, I say so much also no use. You guys must go redeem it and try it, and then personally use it to see what you think about it!

Its always best that we get travel sized samples for cosmetics because firstly, they are not cheap. Then we fear about getting something that doesn’t suit our skin conditions, i.e. too oily.
