MAXIMILIANSLR.
it was a very huge place but i got nothing out of it.. mostly too expensive! ;(

we had..pork knuckles (i think) that night! our last local dinner in germany! (: and it totally tasted like the chinese roasted meat. shao rou. lol. i can’t type in chinese!
the whole group of ~40 people drank a total of 52 glasses of beer!! remember to take in account people like ME who don’t drink at all! sooo some people can really drink! like 3-4 glassessss omg. i think its 500mL each!
its the Munich Olympic Stadium anyway. which hosted Olympics in the year..1972? I thinkkkkk so.
seriously the tour agency who arranged our itenary ought to be more cautious lor! it was planned for us to visit this place on Sunday. and when we were there. none of the stalls were open. NONEEE. haha. so many aunties and uncles couldnt wait to buy local sausages etc. but they were all so disappointed!
i still ♥♥ their buildings. pretty max.
either the palace of justice court? or national state opera house? or royal residence..? i really have no idea! :(
those characters looking like wooden toys can move when the clock strikes ~12pm! we were there at 11plus nearing 12 and we waited for it. apparently many many peopleeeee were waiting to see it move! hahaha. (:
Of course its not mine…! HAHAHAA. (:
okay with that. i’ll end my posts on my germany trip! i realllly hate the internet speed for its really a torture to wait for the photos to load and upload etc.
gonna continue on BKK trip next :)))

we were actually on our way towards the Swarovski Kristallwelten galleria! they have very pretty exhibits inside! (: i think its sorta their main main swarovski factory or something! or their main gallery!
our reflections!!
one of their exhibits. it looks abit dull here but its totally nice and shiny when seen in real because of the glittering swarovski crystals!! I love Swarovski!!!
another one! a dancing moon and sun! hahaha.
tried on their hair band which had crystals on top of the ribbony. but it was way too overpriced. like around RM90+, S$40+? just for a hairbanddddd? no way!
the outside of the gallery! mommy washing her hair!
the YES TO ALL was totally made of many many crystals. super BLINGZ lor under the sun!!!
yeap yeap, i likey!

artistikkkk people.
morning view from my hotel roooom! :))
view along the road….picturesque!!
afterwhich. we headed to a Salt Mine!! and we had to get dressed in their attire in order to keep our clothes clean. everybody looked like they were from mental hospital :P
the tunnel we had to get through via a ‘train’ to get inside the mine.
all kinds of salts! with different composition and percentage of salt content!
hehehe. on board a ‘boat’. a huge one that can carry 40+ people. across to the inner are of the mine!
this is the ‘boat’. see the pretty lightings? this salt mine is totally changed to be a tourist attraction actually. no longer used as a real salt mine to get salt!
the guideeee explaining! i think his uniform is damn cute! :D
hehehehehe.
loooook! like mental patients not? hahahaha! we were actually waiting for the train! to go back to the main entrance of the salt mine!

the garden without any flowers because it was still winter.! also a scene in the movie. seriously this town is all about the movie lor! which i had totally no idea about initially.
this is the place where mozart was born! seriously that pink building opposite the road! haha. this is in Salzburg, anyway. pardon me i have no idea why are my photos abit jumbled! hehehe.
the yellow building, is the back of the building where Mozart grew up..he shifted from that pink building to here when he was..i-forgot-what-age! sorry! lol
i think this is Mozart’s sister’s house. okay gotta change what i said. this town (Salzburg) is all about the movie and Mozart. :))
horse carriages again!
a view from Festung Hohensalzburg. probably some castle? because it was really tall. ahahha. i can’t remember what exactly it is!

Germany/Austria: Day 1 to 2 !
Apr 3rd
Time for another update since its been a few days since I was back from Bangkok, Thailand, the land of SMILES. In summary it was an awesome trip with girlies. We had a damn good time shopping especially!! Alrighty I’ll update photos on this trip soon!
But for now I’ma start with my Germany/Austria trip which I’ve procrastinated for a long time!
This was the first activity we had after arrival upon the Frankfurt International Airport – a cruise along Loreley Rhine River from St. Goar to Boppard. (background picture of the collage is the scenary along the river.) I was just looking around because they pretty much looked the same and didn’t even pay much attention. So much so that even when the cruise took a detour, I wasn’t aware! D: The sausages with mashed potatoes and some preserved vegetable that tasted damn sour (below the sausages!), was our first local meal in a restaurant! And for that first night, we stayed in a hotel in Rothenburg which unfortunately I did not manage to capture a photo of the hotel!
Some photos taken before our lunch! :D
The next morning we took a walk around the City which was supposed to be done the night before but because it was tooo cold at night, our tour guide only brought us around in the morning after breakfast! :D I simply love their architecture. Why can’t buildings in Singapore/Malaysia be abit like that? :)))
The three of us infront of their Planlein Square building in the middle of the city! :))
Afterwhich, we checked out of the hotel and continued our journey to the next city – Fuessen! My favourite city among the few that we visited, actually. Because there was SNOW! :D Also, we got the visit the Neuschwanstein Castle built by King Ludwig II (I think). Its one of the most beautiful castle I’ve visited up-to-date and its my favourite for now! (Got to visit a few castles in Scotland when I was there for my attachment!)
Snow snow snow. BUT. my feet was suffering the whole day. because.. the adidas running shoe that I wore apparently had some ‘holes’ below the soles, supposingly to aid in running or what. AND i totally forgot about that and happily followed the instructions of my physiotherapist to wear ’sports shoes’ to protect my feet. dangz. my feet was damn cold the whole day! thank goodness the other days weren’t that bad!
I personally love love love this photo alot! thanks to one of the uncle ( I can’t remember who :P, but is one of daddy’s friend) who took this candid shot before we stood in position! haha. the picture depicts totally happiness la, so surreal. but of cos its not posed.
hehehhe, in position! :))
a sneak preview of the castle! i. was. amazed. by. how. magnificent. and. grand. it. looked. I LOVE KING LUDWIG II LAAA. and anyway. according to our tour guide, the disney logo was designed using this NEUSCHWANSTEIN castle! how coool.
nah, here’s the Disney logo. do you think it resembles?
Me and Mommy♥♥♥ in our beanies! SO CUTE I LOVE THIS PHOTO MAX! :D we actually had 3 similar such beanies for all 3 of us but we didn’t get to take a picture with it together because we forgot to bring one of them out! :(
Daddy & Mommy ♥♥♥!
they’re wearing beanies! HAHAHAHA. :D cute max!
Mommmmy happy to see snow! HAHAHA. Its not her first time to see snow actually. but prolly her first time seeing it w me, and asking her to pose =P!
the gateway(ticket) to my favouritest castle! :))
so fairytale-ish right!! horse carriages. to bring us up the castle. awwww. are there pumpkin carriages as well? :D the horses are pretty!! but i really pity them. :C its really hard work.
I think this photograph is the best among the rest. Best view to capture almost the whole view of the castle♥.
check out a few others..
memememeeeee with the castle! :))
another scenic view from the castle!
thats daddy and mommy with the pretty castle!
the owner (I dont know what to call him!) of the horse carriage was damn nice he stopped his horses to let me and mommy take photos!! :D sweeeet!
and…all these are pretty much the photos taken for the day. we stayed in a very pretty hotel situated opposite a lake (which was frozennnn!). shall continue in my next post! :D
:D
