i LOVE taiwan! :D

Its the 17th of December today; and I just got back from Taiwan yesterday! :) Which explains my disappearance from the blog, as well as the winter-ish looking photo (does it?) from my previous post! :DD (I love my scarf! Its so cuteeee with the pompoms!)

T’was taken with my iPhone!! MAD LOVE MY iPHONE’S CAMERA!! HAHA.  Though I’m still missin’ my Blackberry’s qwerty keyboard, I would definitely prefer iPhone’s camera. ^-^

Its exactly 1 month and 6 days to Chinese New Year.

Before Christmas and New Year arrives, I’m already looking forward to CNY! ;) Its my all-time favourite, because of new clothes, new shoes, everything NEWWWW :)

Anyway, this time, a lot of the photos are not with me because it was taken with my lil bro’s camera. So, meanwhile.. self-loving photos for you! I’ll sort the photos out and update my trip soon! :DD

& guess what. I met WQ in Taipei, in the SAME HOTEL somemore!!

We only found out that both of us were in Taiwan thru’ twitter, and then it was way toooooo coincidental that we stayed in the same hotel as well.So of course we had to take a photo together :D HAHA!! BUT photo quality is bad. >_>

Alrightttt I’ll be back with more updates!

For now, I LOVE TAIWAN :))) and I want to go back there again!!  Hehehehehe.

Sweet treats are LOVED!

I’m a happy girl today!

Firstly, NUS Rag day was awesome. I didn’t regret going to NUS from JB just to look at the floats. My eyes had a sumptuous treat! All of them were beautiful.

My only regret was, I didn’t get to take photos of most of the hall’s floats because I left after faculty rag.

Anyway I’ll blog about Rag soon! :D

& Secondly, traffic back to JB was a BREEZE today. Thank god!! No traffic congestion at all. MAD LOVE!! Furthermore, around the time I came back today, the customs is usually madly congested.

(& Thirdly, I shopped again today!!)

As mentioned previously, I went on a little shopping trip with RY on Tuesday.

Since both of us wanted a sweet treat, we went to Gusttimo @ Ion Orchard to satisfy our ‘cravings’! I’d been wanting to try this ice cream parlour too, as it looked really pretty from the exterior!

& I like their ice cream there! I think its of good quality! :D Of course, its accompanied by a price, but I’d say still reasonable for a cafe @ Ion! :)

I ordered Dark Chocolate, Red Bean Green Tea (I think!) and Mixed Berry Yoghurt. LOVE THEM ALL! <3

You can actually try the flavours before you decide so yeap, no worries about choosing something you don;t like!

Hello lovelies!! :)))))

I’ve been a happy girl today!!

The day started all well except that I was a little (just a little!) late according to the time I said I would be in NUS haha!

& why was I in school?

I was there to help out for R A G! (Google NUS RAG if you’re really curious what is it about, because I find it really hard to explain what is RAG all about!)

So glad at least 3 other members plus seniors were there down to help toooo, so I was really really entertained. HAHA! We had fun crapping, laughing at each other, etc. It was pure fun&joy while doing SOMETHING BIG! :D

 

I wanna go down for RAG again again!! >.>

 

AND. After RAGGING, I left for CCK Lot 1 to have dinner with Soo Wen and Wee Chang! Apologiessss I was late again! hahaha. It was a good catch up! HAHA! We couldn’t even remember the last time we met.. Tsk!

& Thank youuuuu WC again! :D:D:D

I finally got my loots from Cotton On which I’ve been eyeing since like two months ago. This is sooo terrible. From the time GSS started and now GSS is ending or have already ended! SO happy anyway!

 

Simple days spent with people who are worth it is the best! :D

My Favourite Photos in China!

I’m back I’m back I’m back!

Finally I can continue my habit of embracing my Blackberry (BB!).

You wouldn’t understand how much I missed my BB during the 9days trip.

My trip was awesome, fulfilling (with shopping!) but as usual, tiring! I loved the time spent with my family. The 5 of us haven’t traveled together since early this year where our destination was Vietnam for the New Year. Trips like this are excellent bonding times for all of us and I really cherish the 9 days. Though my heart was screaming all out for my BB, for Facebook, Twitter, etc.

Its been 2-3 years since my last trip to China. And I’m immensely impressed with the changes I see. I wasn’t disappointed with what I’d expected to see. Vast improvements were made, for the Beijing Olympics in 2008, as well as for the Shanghai World Expo 2010.

Of course, I was really disturbed by some of the acts of the Chinese. I believe that what I see are Chinese people from small suburbs, according to what I was told by our Tour guide. Citizens from the big cities like Shanghai are definitely more civilized. Some of the acts includes spitting on the floor (after clearing their bloody throat loudly), speaking extremely loudly across to their friends even though they are miles apart, rushing like they are catching the last boat, pushing people infront of them while queuing!!

Nevertheless, the traffic conditions had improved much in Shanghai, but in small towns, they can get quite bad. Because the laws are more enforced in big cities i believe. For instance, the zebra crossing for pedestrians in smaller cities were of no use. The cars never stopped even when the green man lights up, we had to pluck up our guts to cross and force them to stop them instead.
In one of the small towns, we actually took a ride on their motor-powered-tricycle (like tuk-tuks in Thailand) back to the hotel from somewhere, and holy, these tricycles could even take the roads in the opposite direction because our hotel was at the other side of the road where we traveled from. I actually took a thrilling video while I was on board, show you guys soon. It was scary for the first time, as we could see cars coming OUR way, but it was thrilling for the second time! Something you definitely wouldn’t experience back in Singapore!

AND AND. The highlight of my trip was.. I GOT TO CUDDLE A POMERANIAN DOGGIE!!! I gotta show you my favourite photo of the trip……….

This little thing caught my eye even though it was real dark, because we were at a night market. AWESOMELY FURRY, the touch of it feels like cotton candy. *my parents are not convinced yet* If only it costed what it was in China, it’d be an easier deal for us! I WISH I COULD BRING THIS PUP BACK! I am smittened. SO HAPPY. Was grinning from ear to ear and you can’t even really see my eyes! Photo was taken using my bro’s camera, so I took a picture of it on his screen, I’ll post the original again!

Wished I wasn’t in my nerdy specs lah, to look my bestest in this picca!

Greeting from Su Zhou, China!

The trip’s been awesome to-date!

I LOVE SHOPPING!
But the bad thing about it here is that they do not have WiFi! Okay, at least we have wLAN and brother brought my LG Netbook here. Facebook/Twitter/Blogspot etc. is blocked by the great firewall of china lol. BAD.

Can’;t access Facebook now because brother says its too troublesome. :( MEHMEH de.

Okay, I’ll blog again if I have the mood. Else till I’m back, I’ll have loads of photos to show you guys :D.

Mentioned that we wanna go to Taiwan in July. I HOPE WE CAN MAKE A TRIP THERE BEFORE I START SCHOOOL IN AUGUST. :(
