I’m proud to be a graduate of Singapore Polytechnic!!

Now that I’m in another institution (NUS), I tend to compare life back then. & I love everything about SP. Seriously, SP (especially DBS) rocks! I can foresee my coursemates and seniors nodding their head!!Yeap!

After that, I couldn’t exactly remember what happened. HAHA! Probably lazing around, meeting up with friends! :))

OH yes! Attended two camps as a freshie! :D Made new friends, glad to know friends in school!

Happy to have met my all my 22 other Angels too!

Anyway, shortly after which, school started for me in August. Semester ended in December.

& now its the end of December!

I’m happy that in 2010, I manage to stay in contact with old friends, made new friends, as well as re-connected with some friends who were out-of-contact for some time. :D

Nothing had been very smooth-sailing (and will never always be) through out the year especially these few months of late. As much as I hate all the distress caused.. I’m glad everything is over already.

I’m ready to embrace a brand new year in 1.5 hour’s time.

Here’s wishing all who reads this: May 2011 be a better year for everyone of us! Cheers to the New Year!

BBB and RY’darl, we need to hang outzz. I’m having hang overs of not meeting you girls! heehee. have fun during your trip btw! wished I could join in the fun..!

Anyway. I read something that struck me dumbfounded. I was unaware of the situation at all. Anybody can hate me for who I am, but please don’t hate me for what you THINK i am. I don’t feel good at all after reading, it kinda affected me. To see such comments from someone I don’t really know, and have met for barely 10 times. Too fast to judge anything, no? I shall give it a thought, and reflect on my own behavior.

I’m not even sure if that comment was judgemental. Okay forget it.

But before I continue. Hello readers, I know you exist, at least a few of you, could you please tag to let me know your existence. I’m ashamed of my own tagboard, its been stagnant for 120393923days, since I put it back after someone on formspring asked me ‘Where is my tagboard!’. I know my traffic isn’t fantastic but I know some of you are reading! Thank you muchmuch in advance!!!♥

Looking through the series of insane camwhore shots, I smiled at them. How wonderful it would be if time would stop there, we could take never ending shots of the pictureques view from every angle inside USS♥. Good things never last long, do they? I’m prepared, I told myself, I will be there again. I really sound like a pessimist, at times. I can’t help it.

As for now, while I’m staying in JB, I’m extremely lazy to perk my ass to Singapore to meet up w/ friends unless there are special dates (like USS!) I’d sacrifice the travelling time, feeling shagged for. Not that friends are not important. I seriously miss all the hanging out, I’m missing out on alot of friends, I haven’t met for a tad too long. PLEASE DON’T FORGET ME, MY DEARS!! Things will never be perfect as they seem to be, I’m only human. All I can do now is to accompany my parents as much as possible, to spend as much time as possible with them, which was not possible during my course of study in SP. I love having breakfasts with my lovely parents despite the need to wake up at 8ish every morning. And then having occasional lunches with the workaholic daddy and dinner with the parents and brother(s). This is what I call holidays, because I would only be able to enjoy such bliss during holidays back then. Felix is back too, and yay, our complete family! The cycle is going to repeat in 2 months time and I can already foresee it. (I’m sorry, my trail of thoughts brought me a little too far, side track ends!)

Back to USS. I’m so proud we clogged a total of 612 photos, combining mine and BBB’s camera. We used my camera first so that it was easier to collate photos, and my battery went totally flat at the end of the USS day after taking 500 over photos, and we had to use BBB’s to continue our photo-taking marathon. It isn’t easy to find a gang of friends who can take the challenge of camwhoring non-stop, with 10 shots each time. Err, sometimes I pose until don’t know what to pose, and you’ll find me having the same old few poses every time. Bound to see many many repeats when I show you the whole set of awesome shots!!!! And it happened that we all wore different coloured tops, and they complimented each other so well!!! You shall see later!

I think I’ve penned down enough. Time for photo-logs again!! I hope you enjoy seeing our sweaty but elated faces!!

This was the attraction I hated most. Grilled under the sun, bad view because a damn huge pole and platform was stuck right infront of my view, and because of that, I couldn’t get the performance. Think its ‘Water World’ or something, but shouldn’t discourage, you should try every single attraction there is to optimize your entry into the themepark!!

I was as excited as the many other locals or even foreigners who visited the USS this Monday. Like the description i used on my fb albums “It was Monday but it felt like Saturday, and the Sun was out to play”

I love Universal Studios. I like the way they build up and decorate their interiors and exteriors. Extremely fairytale-ish and gives that happily ever after feeling which girls like me suppaaaa lurveeee! Thumbs up for USS!!! On the other side, they also have very vintagy buildings and decos. Mad love for such buildings too, suppaa classic feel! Aiyaaa, on the overall, USS is worth going a trip, at least, in your lifetime. I can’t deny if you go aplenty of times at one go, I bet you wouldn’t set your foot into them for at least quite some time. You’ll be extremely bored of the games inside because they don’t change within weeks or even months.

I think USS would be purrrrfect if we are not facing global warming – lower temperature and thus better weather. Seriously, the weather was one killer that day. The sun was blazing like a torch from the skies, I think I turned a shade darker after the whole day there. How I wish we had winter or even just spring ( don’t request too much la huh.), and USS would be x39401239123 times MORE ENJOYABLE. I was practically sweating from HEAD to TOE, and my skins felt like super glue/elephant glue, whichever is stickier. lol. So I’d definitely prefer Universal Studios abroad, which are not temperate countries like us.

But..it was nevertheless fun! We can never change the weather here anyway, right? So just make do with it and have the best day of your life @ USS :D

Oh and if you’re thinking S$66/72 (weekdays/weekends) is a little too steep, I’m going to tell you what you get what your purchase your entry tix! After you purchase your tix, they will give each person 3 different tixs, one of it is ur entrance tix, 2nd- a $10 meal voucher, 3rd- a $5 retail voucher. So your S$66 actually includes your meal and a little souvenir, if you don’t wanna spend anymore $ inside! To me, its not bad a deal, eh? I thought I’d totally get nuttin’! hehehe. SMART USS.

Jurassic Park Rapids Adventure!

Couldn’t emphasize how disappointed we were, because the day we were there, this Rapids Adventure ride was UNDER MAINTAINANCE. this ride was probably the only one that would make us WET and we even brought extra clothes to change. Yet we didn’t get the chance enjoy the ride. :’(

Caught Shrek Forever After: The Last Chapter in the theatres on Tuesday after an impromptu decision when we were in Universal Studios (USS) on Monday. The super-steady-4-of-us who went to USS together, decided that we’ll catch Shrek the day after! :D

Ahhhh. I have to admit, I slept through almost half the movie, and woke up occasionally and fall back asleep again. Its really not that the movie was that bad. I was just too tired. My friends really enjoyed the movie. (Imagine I didn’t have enough rest since last Wednesday when I started work, and immediately after work on Sunday, I went to explore the USS on Monday. Yes. I’m that tired.) And yes, I recalled..some parts of the movie were funny, and it was quite a touching movie. I’d give a 3/5 ratings!

Right, back to the point. What I really loved about the movie was the ‘moral of the story’ which they were trying to bring across, which is to TREASURE AND CHERISH WHATEVER YOU HAVE BEFORE YOU LOSE THEM, AND END UP REGRETTING.

I’m going to be a spoiler. Shrek in this final chapter, was not satisfied about what he had and he wanted more. In the end, he lost all he had and wanted so much to be back to the past, to embrace what he used to have.

I think thats a pretty important lesson. Many of us are already very much better off than many many people living on this Earth and yet we are never satisfied. Human beings are never satisfied, true, but more importantly, know how to cherish.

Start with your own family members; cherish each other, tell your parents you love them, tell your siblings you care. :) Continue to show and spread your love to your friends.

“Do not take each day for granted, tomorrow is never guaranteed”

:) it doesn’t take much to show your appreciation, yeah? make people smile, i promise their smile will make your day.

that was what i learnt during work. i really appreciate customers who bother to say a thank you and also smile at me, it made my day a little more bearable.
